Similar to standard travel trailers, hybrid travel trailers offer additional sleeping space in one or more push-out beds similar to those found on pop-up trailers. The living, kitchen and dining areas offer amenities comparable to those found in travel trailers.
Hybrid travel trailers give larger families adequate sleeping space in a trailer that is shorter and lighter to tow than a conventional hard side travel trailer capable of sleeping six or more people. Hybrid travel trailers come in lengths ranging from about 16 to 25 feet; some offer a cargo area up front and range up to about 33 feet long overall. New models start at about $18,000, ranging up to about $30,000.
