Help is Just a Phone Call Away with RoadCare Emergency Road Service
Nothing derails a vacation or a weekend getaway faster than a mechanical problem with your RV or tow vehicle. Worst of all, problems tend to follow Murphy’s Law--they pop up at the most inopportune time and place imaginable.
That’s why it’s a good idea to have some backup in the form of emergency road service that puts help just a toll-free phone call away, anytime, anywhere. Camping World’s RoadCare RV Emergency Road Service is just such a plan, with the added bonus that it is designed especially for RVers with their specific needs in mind.
All-Vehicle Coverage
RoadCare protects your motorhome, travel trailer, 5th wheel, toy hauler, pop-up camper, van camper, tow vehicle, pickup with camper and other household vehicles (including cars, vans, SUVs, boat trailers and motorcycles) for one price, with no added fees for limited RV coverage like some other plans that cover only motorhomes, trucks with campers, travel trailers and motorcycles.
RoadCare benefits apply to the member, the member’s spouse or domestic partner and dependent children age 25 or under who still live at home or attend college. Your whole family enjoys peace of mind that comes with full coverage.
RoadCare’s sign-and-drive service means you don’t have to cough up cash on the spot for the service call or towing to the nearest professional service center. Parts and labor on minor repairs are the only costs you will have to pay.
24/7 Toll-Free Assistance
When something goes wrong on your RV or other vehicle, help is just a phone call away, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week--even holidays. A service provider will come to your location for emergency fuel delivery, lost key or lock-out assistance, changing a flat tire, jump-starting a dead battery or to make minor roadside repairs.
RV Towing
When the problem requires that your RV be towed to a repair facility, a tow truck capable of safely towing your vehicle will be dispatched to bring you in. RoadCare pays for your vehicle to be towed to the nearest professional service center if you request assistance within 24 hours of your RV or tow vehicle becoming disabled.
If you want your vehicle towed somewhere besides the nearest professional service center, including your home, you are only responsible for the mileage beyond the distance to the service center. Other road service providers limit towing to only 100 miles, and may not be able to provide you with a tow truck big enough to safely tow a large RV. Your RoadCare membership also covers towing when your vehicle is disabled due to a collision.
Outside the U.S.
RoadCare coverage extends beyond the borders of the contiguous U.S. states, Alaska and Hawaii. Help is still only a phone call away in Canada. If a problem occurs while you are visiting in Mexico, RoadCare provides claims reimbursement for up to $1000 per member year for breakdown service you arrange and receive locally.
Travel Delay Assistance
RoadCare comes to the rescue if your vehicle is involved in a collision and you are unable to drive it. Travel Delay Assistance includes reimbursement of up to $1200 per member year for lodging, meals, car rental fees, emergency phone calls and other reasonable expenses incurred when your vehicle is disabled by a collision.
Emergency Medical Referral
Besides providing assistance when your vehicle has a problem, RoadCare also provides emergency medical referral service if you have a medical emergency or a personal emergency associated with an illness or accident while you are traveling. This assistance includes directions to the nearest medical, dental or legal help; assistance in replacing lost prescriptions; emergency cash advances or advance medical payments; help in making emergency travel arrangements; 24-hour emergency message service to family or friends; help in locating lost luggage, documents or other items; help in arranging emergency pet care, transport or safe return; and even language interpretation assistance if needed.
The comprehensive, RV-specific emergency roadside service provided by RoadCare makes it a real value at only $79.95 for President’s Club members for a one-year membership--a 10% savings off the regular one-year membership cost of $109.95. Other plans--the few that include RVs in their coverage at all--can cost significantly more per year. Other plans may not include service or reimbursement outside the continental U.S. or offer all the special benefits tailored to the RV lifestyle that are available through RoadCare.
So if Murphy invites himself along on your next RV outing, be prepared with RoadCare RV Emergency Road Service.
