The previous owners of our 1995 Dolphin where heavy smokers. How do we remove smoke stains from a once white ceiling (fabric)?

We have tried various stain removers as well as bleach and water. While wet, it looks great, when dry---there back!!

Kenpar, I certainly don’t envy your job and I’d tell you the best way is just to replace the ceiling. Since I know that’s not an option, I have found that a steam cleaner with a good upholstery cleaner works best for me. In addition to the upholstery cleaner I use a spray bottle with peroxide in it will help it loosen the stain. Remember that peroxide only has a 10 minute life when it's exposed to light, so you have to work really fast after you spray the area. I hope this helps ~ Giovanni
